Understanding the The Post World-Catastrophe Game
Overall and Higher Objectives of the Program
The OVERALL objective of this program is to develop a network of very
special people who after a universal world catastrophe will reconstruct a
new world society.
This is not something that will interest most people - BUT, if you
are one of those VSP (Very Special Persons) this site map will show you
various places that you can choose to fit in. Not everything will suit
everyone because we live in a very diverse world with all kinds of
people. So while the VSP are very diverse they have one thing in common.
They wish to help other people and to be of service to mankind.
The HIGHER objective of this program is to help lay the foundation of a
new society that will have HIGHER virtues. We want to create a society
very different from the present order of things. A society in which
there will be Justice, Truth, Compassion. The VSP will see the
shortcomings of the present world society and also wish to build a
different and better world from the one that is being destroyed.
As with all programs of this kind there is a special hidden quest. Few
will find it. Fewer yet understand it. It is what Isaac Newton
considered his greatest discovery but the world suppressed it. It is
truly world changing. Newton (and this writer) believes it is the path
to True Reality. TINAG.
By looking through this site map a VSP should find something that interests them.

The Simulation Story Line
The Simulation Story is about a veterans' biker group that flees from
the city after an EMP event that preceeds nuclear WorldWar III. The
story was originally being cooperatively written as a series of five
novels.
(a.) Simulation World
• Follow and develop the story of Civ Div 1
Each novel starts at exactly the same time but in a different place:
City, Suburb, Town, Village, Farm. The biker gang moves from one
location to the next.
The simulation starts two years later in each location - and the
participant can choose whichever location they wish to participate in.
The activity of the simulation is that of solving the problems in the
chosen location, by using the skills in the categories below. |
(b.) Real World Now!
• Prep for situations like those Civ
Div 1 faces
The participant will be gaining the means to develop in real life the skills in the categories below.
It is also possible to participate by furthering the simulation itself.
One can do this by adding chapters to the story. It may be that at some
point the collective story can be published.
Another way would be to provide animation for the story.
|
(b.) Real World (AFTER Catastrophe)
• Will have anticipated much of what will occur
While this project is meant be an entertaining method of learning - it is still serious learning about a serious subject.
It provides practice and test about real essential skills that are
usually either not recognized or which are ignored in 'prepper'
programs. In the aftermath of a world-wide catastrophe these are skills
that will be largely unknown but which will be essential to the
establishment of a better society.
|
Application Note:
At the moment these are development notes but in the future they will be Participant (Player) notes and guidelines.
The story will allow one from the Main Dashboard choose one of five
venues to play in. Each venue will be a LERN and one will play in only
one LERN although they will be able to follow the story through all five
venues.
Participants will be able to write and share additional stories for all the venues.
We will try to have animated at least the initial story for each venue although this will occur as the game progresses.

Why the Radio is Important
No low cost radio systems, nor present emergency networks, fit the need
for reconstruction after a universal holocaust. Most members of ham
radio organizations do not think such a castastrophe is possible, or
they think that if it were to occur - that it would not be survivable.
That is why it is important to understand the equipment that is needed
and how to operate it. In simulation one can get practice on the
specific methods of how to operate a net in such time of need.
(a.) Simulation World
• Radio - Practice simulated communication
We can do this in the simulation simply by exchanging emails with other participants -
because the radio system that we have designed for the real world is much like using email.
You want to team up with others in your LERN to do the radio courses.
|
(b.) Real World Now!
• Radio - Pass the Ham Radio Exam
It is easy to get your ham license through this project. We are utilizing a training organization that makes it easy.
After examination by a real world examiner you can use the actual SAFE EMS radio to practice in the real world.
|
(b.) Real World (AFTER Catastrophe)
• Radio - Use the SAFE EMS System
With the SAFE EMS system you will be able to provide to the surviving community one of the most important services possible.
Those who support the surviving community will be supported.
|
Application Note:
At the moment these are development notes but in the future they will be Participant (Player) notes and guidelines.
One of our main activities is building the radio and the SAFE Ham Net.
This somehow may all fit into the Kickstarter, but exactly how that
might be isn't clear yet.
I will try to get the participants a discount coupon to take the HamTest
On-line series so that they can become licensed. However, the game will
have so many different aspects that only a portion of the players may
be interested in doing that.

Learn to Build LERNs
It is impossible to build LERNs in the real world until after the
Universal Catastrophe. The reason for this is that everyone is busy
trying to survive in the present social system. But, once the present
social system has collapsed there will be needed a new social system
that will work in what will then be the current situation.
The LERN (Local Economy Recovery Network) is based upon a concept that
the official US Government Study (for economic recovery after total
nuclear war) said was the only system of which they were aware that
would work. The system is a bottom up system used to make sure everyone
is working and it provides a way of establishing a monetary system as
explained in the next section.
Although this is the system favored by the US Government Study - there
has been NO effort on the part of the government to train/teach/inform
the public about anything similar to LERNs.
(a.) Simulation World
• LERN - Develop a simulated community
Real LERNs cannot be implemented prior to a complete social collapse.
HOWEVER - building and operating simulated LERNs will give experience and insight necessary for doing so in the real world. |
(b.) Real World Now!
• LERN - Participate in the SAFE Network.
The SAFE Network is NOT a LERN but is composed of people trying to learn the LERN concepts.
Being a member of the SAFE Network allows one to meet and work with others who are learning about LERNs.
|
(b.) Real World (AFTER Catastrophe)
• LERN - Organize LERNs in your area.
Those who have learned about LERNs and who have practiced in simulation
the skills involved in operating them, will be very valuable in the
reconstruction of society.
|
Application Note:
At the moment these are development notes but in the future they will be Participant (Player) notes and guidelines.
This is the main activity of the game. Initially there will be only one
LERN. Once we reach one hundred members we will have the first election
of LERN Councilors. This means that everyone in the LERN will receive
information about all the other members of the LERN and that they will
elect 5 councilors by computer secret ballot. The details of this
procedure will have to be worked out.
Once we reach 200 members the LERN will be split into two LERNs.
When we reach 500-1000 members there will 5 LERNs - and the first
heirarchial LERN over them. At this point the structure and procedures
of the game will be fairly well established.
The next heirarchial break will come at around 3000 participants.
There are many resources to be considered. Newsletter, Blogs, Chatroom,
Twitter, Facebook, polling and voting software, and many others that we
haven't identified as yet.
|
Establishing a Monetary System
Key to economic recovery, key to the establishment of a functioning
society, is the re-establishment of a monetary system. Barter will not
cut it. It never has. It is just to inefficient. The first primary
function of LERNs is to assure that everyone is fully employed and
working towards the recovery. They cannot do this without money. If
someone has a concept that the only money will be gold or based upon
gold - then a lot of people who don't have gold are going to go hungry.
There may be great mountains of gold stored up somewhere in the world,
but it is not likely to be in any small community of persons that you
are trying to help survive. It is important therefore that you know how
to establish a monetary system for your LERN.
(a.) Simulation World
• Money - Use a simulated currency
In this simulation world you will be shown how you and groups of individuals can create money.
You will experience the difficulties that can be countered and learn how to avoid them.
You can use the created money to purchase things in the simulated world
and there is the possibility of using it in the real world.
|
(b.) Real World Now!
• Money - Learn how to make money
There is associated with this program an actual Moodle course that gives
you a thorough understanding about money, and how to create it.
There are rewards for working through and mastering the course, both in the simulation and in the present real world.
|
(b.) Real World (AFTER Catastrophe)
• Money - Create a money system
In a post-catastrophe situation your understanding of how to create a
monetary system - combined with your knowledge and experience of how to
set one up and operate it - will make you very valuable to your
surviving community.
The alternative is continued collapse or that the existing system re-establishes itself and imposes itself upon you.
|
Application Note:
At the moment these are development notes but in the future they will be Participant (Player) notes and guidelines.
This will be a bookkeeping problem. Who knows - maybe we will consider
bitcoin. We will thoroughly explain about money and the development of a
monetary system through the Moodle courses.

Forming TRIADs Around Yourself
TRIADs and LERNs are the left and right hands of the social system
proposed and demonstrated in this program. TRIADs are
unstructured/cultural/communicative/consciousness side while LERNs are
the highly structured/administrative/authoritative/elected side.
It has been said that no one can map a TRIAD network although perhaps in
the future some gigantic super computer may take a jab at it. While we
may not be able to map it - we know that it is there and functional -
just like the network of synapses in the brain or all the individual
decision makers in the free market system.
While these TRIAD networks do not exist yet today (in any great number)
they can be come one side of the foundation necessary for spiritual
growth of culture and society.
(a.) Simulation World
• TRIAD - Link to partners in the simulation
Practice in the establishment and use of TRIADs.
Use TRIADs to further your understanding of the project and to advance your role in it.
|
(b.) Real World Now!
• TRIAD - Link to partners in the real world
Develop relationships that help you to better understand and work in the SAFE Network.
Or form relationships that help you to advance towards your life goals.
|
(b.) Real World (AFTER Catastrophe)
• TRIAD - Train others to create TRIAD networks
Spread knowledge about the workings and goals of the LERN system
Help determine the workings and goals of the LERN system
|
Application Note:
At the moment these are development notes but in the future they will be Participant (Player) notes and guidelines.
The TRIADs are self sustaining through email - but we need to track
membership for each individual so that we know they are active and who
other possibilites are - if they need another member.

Helping to Test a Universal Language Concept
The ANJeL Tug (Angel Tounge) language used in the simulation does just
add to the uniqueness of the simulation but it also accomplishes two
other things. One: it permits those who do not speak English to quickly
learn to read the messages and Two: it provides the opportunity to
actually test tools regarding the development of an International
Language. An International Auxiliary Language has long been seen as a
beneficial ingredient in establishing a world culture and society to
assure peace among the diverse inhabitants of the earth. In
reconstruction of society after a catastrophe on the scale of nuclear
World War Three this will be recognized a very desirable goal and
activity.
(a.) Simulation World
• Language - Use the ANJeL Tug
This is especially useful to people who do not speak English but who
would like to use the simulation and learn to speak English.
It also adds to the uniqueness and enjoyment of the simulation. |
(b.) Real World Now!
• Language - Teach non-English speakers
Outside of the
simulation it is easy for both English speaking and Non-English speaking
participants to communicate using the same language tools that are used
in the simulation.
|
(b.) Real World (AFTER Catastrophe)
• Language - Support development of a UAL
In reconstruction of the world and society after a World-wide
Catastrophe it will be very desirable to have a Universal Auxiliary
Language and the experience with the ANJeL Tug in the simulation will
provide a sound basis for its development.
|
Application Note:
At the moment these are development notes but in the future they will be Participant (Player) notes and guidelines.
There is much software needed in this area - but if the program is
successful - and particular if we get a lot of non-English speaking
players - we can have the programming done.

Becoming an Equipped and Trained Radiological Monitor
Radiation in a post nuclear Third World War would be a significant
problem. At one time the US Government spent large amounts of money
training and equipping civilian volunteer radiation defense personnel.
But now, all that, along with the supplied shelters they were to manage
has disappeared. Any knowledgeable individuals who are equipped with
radiation detection equipment will be very valuable indeed. This project
will train and equip its participants in the use of radiation detection
equipment and in the simulation give them understanding, and practice,
in its use.
(a.) Simulation World
• Radiation - Use radiation defense skills
Various situations in the simulation will involve the use of radiation
defense techniques so that one will have practice in applying what they
learn in the projects training courses. |
(b.) Real World Now!
• Radiation - Build your own radiation equipment
There is no cost and you will learn to build and operate your own radiation detection device.
|
(b.) Real World (AFTER Catastrophe)
• Radiation - Save lives with your expertise
Being able to build and provide radiation detection devices will mean that you have a very valuable commodity to trade.
|
Application Note:
At the moment these are development notes but in the future they will be Participant (Player) notes and guidelines.
We have on the Ark Two website videos and links to videos explaining the procedures and how to build the radiation detector.
|
Becoming Skilled in a Post-Holocaust Technology
There are many diverse skills that will be immediately needed in a
Post-Holocaust society. If your favorite has not been named here, such
as: Security, Agriculture, Medicine, Energy, Transportation, Education,
there are specific venues within the simulation for development of
interaction and application of numerous such skills. The simulation
encourages the discovery and development of as many such skills as is
possible.
(a.) Simulation World
• Technology - Find tech solutions for problems
This is the major activity in the simulation. There are hundreds of specialities and solutions to choose from.
The skills are valuable from one level to the next and this is what enables one to 'level up'.
The skills are exchangeable and this is what provides value in the monetary system.
|
(b.) Real World Now!
• Technology - Become skilled in a technology
The skills are real and many are useful in the present day real world
Because they are skills that are particularly applicable to survival and
reconstruction many of them are not common in the present day world -
so they need to be learned and preserved.
|
(b.) Real World (AFTER Catastrophe)
• Technology - Have valuable skills to trade
There are unique skills applicable to the Post-Holocaust and reconstruction stages,
which having them will make one very valuable and more likely to survive.
|
Application Note:
At the moment these are development notes but in the future they will be Participant (Player) notes and guidelines.
There will hopefully be many special interest groups who will develop blogs or web pages dealing with their specialties.
