SAFE Ark Two Newsletter

We are the Frogs -
and the Pot is Boiling
All around the world the problems continue to intensify.
The quality of life for most individuals in every continent
continues to deteriorate and the conflict between nations
continues to accelerate.
In Brazil there have been massive "Bread versus Circus" demonstrations
protesting the billions being spent on the Soccer World Cup -
while so many are in poverty.
In China the number of demonstrations is greatly accelerating
to levels unknown since the Communist takeover.
Throughout many parts of Europe there have been taking place
large street political protests because of the unemployment situation.
The most violent protests are most usually in Arab countries,
amounting effectually to civil war in
Libya
Syria
Egypt
Lebanon
Iraq
Afghanistan
Pakistan
and SE Asia.
Monumental clashes in Vietnam
and International Governmental clashes
between China, Japan, and China and Vietnam. The Ukraine is in a civil war of its own.
To recount all the trouble spots in the world at this moment would be very long. It is not always so.
The situation at the moment is exceptional. These are not necessarily all problems waiting to attack
the US but they are waiting to attack each other. Most are just sparring with each other at the moment
but when the flag goes up they will be released from the cages and attack each other,
ferociously.
It is a world conflagration that is about to occur - and none shall be spared.
|
The build up of weapons of fearful destruction has never been so immense. One plane, one warship of the
present day equals one hundred of the Second World War. There exist weapons today that were
unimaginable then - and the destruction they will reek is unimaginable now.
For the most part, however, those about us are oblivious to the worsening social conditions, the
breakdown of morality, the impoverishment of the human soul, and all the factors financial, economic,
geopolitical that are leading to this Last Great Confrontation in what has been the Armageddon Century
of Continuous World War.
The water boils. Our frog is cooked.
I do wish to make mention of the situation in India which I have been following with some interest. As
you know, in my paradigm, no matter the immediate cause of WW3 nor where it may be designated to have
begun, I expect the first nuclear exchange to take place between Pakistan and India which will then be
the trigger for the use of nuclear weapons the world over on the basis of "use them or lose them."
Prior to the largest election in the world's history, and the landslide victory
this last month of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whom Islamists had declared would be the trigger for
war between Pakistan and India, Arun Jaitley, who has now been appointed the Indian Minister of
Defence, was reputedely considered the party's military hardliner. Admittedly, Mian Nawaz Sharif, the
Prime Minister of Pakistan, attended the Indian innauguration ceremonies - but many people consider
this merely symbolic because the "Deep Power" in Pakistan, the military who are the holders of the
nuclear keys, highly objected.
The US supposedly has a plan, in case of confrontation between India and Pakistan, to rush into
Pakistan and disable the nuclear capabilities. Not likely.
Whatever the world's view of its situation, preparations continue apace here at Ark Two. A bit slowed
this week by the need to attend the funeral at the Ahmadiyya Mosque for the uncle of one of our
members. He was martyred this last week in Pakistan and has been flown here for burial.
Some other major projects are somewhat slowed also. The key individual for working on the water supply
for the garden can't begin until this coming Saturday, and while I have received encouraging progress
reports about the radio, the necessary schematics haven't been gotten to Adam. Likewise for still two
others that I won't mention as yet.
Nevertheless, we have made great progress in some areas - one being the garden. This last weekend
Darlene and her brother planted 248 tomato plants plus -
3 squash
1 lemon balm
1 cucumber
1 Niagara grape
1 concord grape
2 hardy kiwi
2 blueberry
Welsh Onion in 2 plots
Spearmint in 18 plots
Wild Strawberry in 26 plots
Alpine Strawberry in 34 plots
Wintergreen in 22 plots
Seabuckthorn in 18 plots
White Yarrow in 29 plots
Dandelion in 27 plots
Borage in 17 plots
Cat Grass in 30 plots
We also seeded two fields with a four variety mixture of clover
Next weekend another planting session is planned.
As troublesome as it is to many people, and in spite of the spiritual darkness of this age, I am going
to write a bit more about the nature of the Holy Spirit. Those who are survivalists, and who subscribe
to this newsletter for that purpose, may well wonder what this subject has to do with their interest.
The answer is that Spiritual Reality is the only True Reality - and unless one is in attune with that
they are simply fighting the shadows of this world of illusion. The only true survival is the survival
of the Spirit - and all who seek otherwise will be disappointed.
So what is the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost? It is impossible to comprehend the Holy Spirit - because it is
the Holy Spirit itself that comprehends. You can no more comprehend the Holy Spirit within you than you
can see your own eyeball. However, just as you can see the reflection of your eyeball in a mirror you
may experience the reflection of the Holy Spirit in your life.
Those who speak dogmatically in terms of theological pronouncements about the nature of the Holy
Spirit/Holy Ghost are not speaking about anything that you will experience. It is true that some few
individuals have a "Road to Damascus" experience, or a "Baptismal experience" in which they come out of
the water exclaiming "Wow!" We cannot, or should not, judge another's experience, but unfortunately
many people who claim to be led by the Spirit are actually only 'wannabees', and many are simply self-
deluded, and there are even some who are aware that they are being intentionally deceptive.
So what then and where is the Holy Spirit? It is actually within you. Not physically - but in the same
manner that light is reflected in a mirror - the Holy Spirit is reflected in your soul. This can be to
a greater or lesser degree just as can be the amount of light reflected in a mirror. If the mirror is
veiled, in this case by the dust of sin, then very little light may penetrate to the mirror. I could
expand on this analogy at length, but the reality is that for every individual there is some
interaction between their soul and the Holy Spirit. Without that interaction the soul would be entirely
dark and the individual dead.
The individual soul has free will and is capable of subverting/diverting the energy/power of the Holy
Spirit which is the motivating/mobilizing power of the entire universe. As an analogy, God is the Sun,
center of the Universe, and the Holy Spirit the Light Rays from that Source, which then become
reflected in us - in our souls. Whether or not one sees in this analogy a Personal God, or a Universal
Principle, depends upon their individual level of understanding. None of us can see the Person of God,
nor the Holy Spirit, but we can experience the latter.
From the moment that one stands up in the crib - they experience something outside themselves. That
something is the Holy Spirit and as they develop they develop what is called a conscience which is the
ability to listen to the Holy Spirit. The development of conscience requires will, just as the ability
to reason or sing in harmony requires intention and effort. Some persons develop relatively little
reasoning or singing capability. These can be trained, to the extent of their innate potential - but
to succeed, to their personal limit, in some field of reasoning such as mathematics or in some area of
music or art one must want to do so and they must make the effort. Likewise one must wish to excel in
the area of conscience and the ability to hear the Holy Spirit, and they must be willing to put forth
the effort to do so.
Some have called conscience, "the still small voice", and indeed one must listen for it.
Jesus said:
Matthew 12:31
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy
against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
I won't go into the distinctions between obscenities, profanity and blasphemy but
the Third of the Ten Commandments states:
Exodus 20:7
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that
taketh his name in vain.
How many times a day do we hear the expression - "OMG" - and if you hear someone exclaim, "Jesus!", how
likely is it that the person uttering it will be praying?
Yes, those are blasphemies. But how often have you ever heard someone take the name of the Holy
Spirit/Ghost in vain. I'll bet never - because it is a part of our culture, based upon that scripture,
to not do so. HOWEVER, that is not what Jesus meant by that. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is to
not listen to It. Not listening is the one thing that prevents one from finding the Truth and Reality.
When an idea is presented to one, in reading, listening to the radio or TV, listening to a lecture, or
in conversation with someone they must go deeply into their soul and listen to the Holy Spirit for the
answer as to whether what they are hearing is True. Doing this is a skill they must develop of putting
aside their opinion and instead of forming a rebuttal or arguement and determining how to contest what
has been said in order to defend their existing biases about economics, politics, religion, learning to
listen very carefully to see if the Holy Spirit says this can be true.
That total commitment to the Truth is listening to the Holy Spirit - and failure to do so is blasphemy
against the Holy Spirit, because that is the one thing that will prevent one from finding the Ultimate
Truth.
This skill, this commitment to the Truth is what is missing today. When speaking with people you will
find that they say they already have the Truth. They will say that they KNOW that their religion,
political, economic view is correct. They are therefore incapable of hearing the Truth if it is
different from what they already believe. They are indeed blaspheming against the Holy Spirit - and
even if they should by chance believe something that is True - it makes no difference because that is
coincidence and they are not receptive to the Holy Spirit.
One sign, among many, that someone is indeed motivated by the Holy Spirit is their meekness and
humbleness when presented with new and challenging ideas. No matter how convinced one may be about what
they believe, a part of the human condition is that they may be wrong. Those who attacked Jesus were as
convinced as they could be that they were right - and those who attack the Truth today, when it is
presented to them, are equally (and wrongly) convinced that they are right.
There are three things necessary to the development of the human soul and its capacity to strongly hear
the Holy Spirit. First the soul must recognize that there is God. Secondly the soul must come to
understand the nature of God. Thirdly the soul must come to understand its relationship to God. All
this is accomplished through the Holy Spirit and by no other means. The Holy Spirit is there for every
individual. It is by the Holy Spirit that all live, move and breathe. One can no more avoid it than
they can suppress their breath or control the blood in their veins. These are all signs of the
presence of the Holy Spirit. But through free will one can act in such manner as that the breath will
be affected as will be the blood coursing through their arteries, and those acts and activities that
control those results may be the very opposite as would be desired by the Holy Spirit - if they were to
listen to It instead. And so with their every thought and motive, each individual has the freedom to
turn to the Holy Spirit, or to turn away from it and subvert it.
With practice it becomes natural to turn to the Holy Spirit, or to turn away from it, and to instead
become addicted to emotions about religion, politics, economics or all things of the materialistic
profane life. We each have that free choice.
As unpleasant as has been this subject to some, the subjects that I intend to tackle in forthcoming
newsletters will even more raise their ire. The reason is that while most people today are indifferent
to the subject of religion they become very emotional about subjects like economics.
A final word. Health much improved here. Not on any medicines - and was able to dig the 250 tomato
holes (the easy part) that Darlene and her brother planted. Jemma dog too seems better and hoping to
have her checked by the groomer tomorrow. The Vet is too expensive.
Sure would love anyone in the near vicinity to come and pitch in with some help.
And once again - anyone who would like to critique the book that I am writing in regards to the Holy
Spirit, need only ask.
Peace and love,

Greetings SAFE Team!
What's it take to succeed? The right stuff? What's the right stuff?
Wow, three questions in a row! Well, if your Bible can't save you, and your church
can't save you, then what will save you?
|
Will "religion" save you? I think not.
History/experience has shown that the "saving" part is based on a viable
relationship with The Lord - not a membership! What does all this mean? I hope you can
figure that one out for yourself.
We now have so much useful information at our fingertips, it's absolutely amazing!
Therein rests a false sense of preparedness. (Sounds a little like a Shakespeare
reference.) However, those of us who are aware enough to realize the shortness
of time, the gathering storm clouds overhead, should know better than to
continue in the typical American fashion of the rugged individual, and trade that in
for another American tradition, that of the wagon train! Wether your group has already
"circled its wagons" or not; the sure success determining fact is whether you are
still going it alone or not.
Now that we have had the SAFE Forum up and running for about a month or so,
it's encouraging to see how many members are taking advantage of it as a
networking tool; and it's a little discouraging to see how many are still going
the route of the "lone wolf" survivalist!
It's very difficult to break the old mold. But flexibility is one of those success
attributes that we need to cultivate. I urge all of you reading this to actively
build and support working relationships with your likeminded neighbors,
and with the God you worship! Is it easy? Based on the results I've seen so far,
I would say not, but IT IS WORTH IT! ! !
Now, all of you who recognize the level of participation within your respective states
also realize what you get when you ask people to volunteer. And, you also see
what the results are when we don't push prepper junk, or use shocking gimmicks
to get people to respond. Yes, we are volunteering, but there are many, many
people relying upon our efforts. So, please resolve to step up your efforts, in the
very least, to be of service to others.
If you have a lazy STL, or your STL is just plain saddled with overwhelming personal
responsibilities, offer to help! Of course, times are pressing, but your participation
can make the difference for those who are looking around for some direction.
Contact me personally, or better yet, voice your concerns/opinions at:
Safeforumusa.com
Also note that we have a new friend in Survivopedia.com and I will be posting some
articles from there from time to time on our own Forum.
