SAFE Ark Two Newsletter

Activity Is Intensifying
Activity is intensifying both in the world at large
and here at Ark Two.
In my last newsletter I reported that the US might align with Iran regarding Iraq -
but then before I could hit the send button there was a denial -
so I noted that.
Since then, like a ping pong ball -
the idea has been back and forth on one side of the net, or the other, so I won't try to make any
predictions about that or a hundred other things.
The US is taking an intense interest in civil wars going on in three countries. Besides Iraq and Syria
there is the Ukraine. The Ukrainian president, who has been on the US payroll for the last eight years,
has supposedly negotiated a truce with Putin in Russia. I am not making any predictions about that
either.
Things are rocking away in other spheres also. Africa, South America, and of course those countries
interfacing with China. China has another drilling rig on the way to Vietnam and Japan is activating
prisoner handling procedures in anticipation of further interface with China.
All the above activity sort of just forces out of the news the previous high interest stories about
Iran and Israel. All of these countries are having intense internal problems. It is impossible to say
whether one of the above will come to the fore as the problem of primary interest or whether the next
high profile conflict will occur somewhere else. The world is just full of problems.
I think that it is the multiplicity and intensity of world problems that is causing the increased
interest and activity at Ark Two. At the moment, two conflicting/competing survival organizations have
scheduled to programs at Ark Two on the same weekend. They were one organization to begin with but
somehow internal differences arose - and so both are claiming the weekend event. Bruce advocates unity
but is not sure what he can do it about it. It may be interesting. At least none of these groups
advocate violence or the use of weapons. After all - we ARE in Canada.

For my part, the more the merrier. I know of no other survival organization that gets more help than
SAFE and Ark Two, but we need ten times the amount of help. This week Dave and Evan came over and
worked on the water ram. It is our third. Jean watched her grandfather put in one in 1935 and my son
put in one about 15 years ago. This will be a much improved one - but at the moment there is a
technical glitch that I am hoping someone will come to help with today (Sunday).
This total system for watering the garden will contain about five-thousand dollars in parts, all of
which has been donated. I feel the garden will be essential in feeding the thousands of people/refugees
for which the Ark is being built to service. The garden is Darlene's and it is based on permaculture. I
think she needs more help also. She has come every weekend for weeks, but is planning to cut back to
every other weekend.
Lots of projects that need lots of help. Many people contact me each week and say they would like to
come and visit Ark Two. I could spend all my time entertaining people, but I tell them come prepared to
work and better than 90% of the time I never hear from them again.
Still and all, it seems to me that everything is coming together here. Some BIG challenges that I need
to be tackling - but water for the garden is top priority at the moment and we just can't take on any
more projects at the moment - unless we get even more help - and LOTS of it. All has to do with the
scale at which we try to do things.
Some really great guys have come up in the past to give help for a week - and if two or three of you
could come up again now - it sure would help.
Regarding the greater SAFE picture - we are needing volunteers in every state for Assistant TEAM
Leaders. Please step right up and let Christopher know that you are willing. You don't actually have
anything to do, but just be in place as a backup, in case the State TEAM Leader in your state has to
step down, so that there won't be any loss of continuity.
Would all Ham radio operators also please email Carlton so
that you can be listed in our Ham Net. Just tell him which state you are in, and your call sign.
Hoping that Adam will start our radio amplifier board layout this coming week - and that Wendy will get
our game program working. Lots going on - on every front.
It has been terribly hot and stormy in many parts of the US this last week. We had a tornado here which
struck my daughter's house. Some damage to the roof and a couple of other areas and it took down two
big trees. Her three nearest neighbors were all more seriously damaged but no one was hurt. In Angus,
which we go through to get from here to her, there were 50 houses seriously damaged and thousands were
without electricity for a day or more. Storm only took down one old tree at the Ark compound, but we
have a bit of cleaning up to do.
Still, for us - it is like living in the Garden of Eden. Cool, green and peaceful. It is such a joy to
go out and sit in some of the places in our gardens. Jean and Darlene went on this Saturday's Annual
Horning's Mills Garden tour. At the county museum they gave Jean a large beautiful bouquet for her
birthday, the curator saying it was for the 'Queen of Horning's Mills', a title apparently achieved
through longevity, because so far as I know she is now the oldest resident.
We are surrounded by a delightful environment, delightful people, and delightful activity. I just wish
that more of you would come and join us. Sameen has put in an offer on the house across the street.
This may workout into an opportunity for a place for more of you to stay. If I haven't mentioned it -
do come and help.
Delayed in getting this out. Just as I was about to send one of my computer monitors crashed -
apparently permanently. Took me awhile to get everything back on one screen because the controls were
showing on the monitor that crashed. Anyway, this leaves me with a much more narrow window onto the
cyberworld.
Super blessed a couple of weeks ago with much faster computer than I had been using - but now I need a
couple of new monitors. Something other than a CRT. If you know of access to something at a very low
cost - please let me know.
Help that I was much needing today, to help with the water ram and prepare for July - didn't make it.
Evan says he will come on Wednesday, and someone else on Friday - but the time is getting critical to
get in the necessary parts and we need to do a test before we send for them. Hope someone will contact
me for Monday or Tuesday.

We are making progress with our Database, and our STLs should start to receive
updated email lists. It's a long process, so please be patient, and please send me
a brief confirmation of receipt when you do get your list (several of you already
have done so - thanks.)

When anyone visits our Forum, they will be able to tell which states are active
and which states need volunteers for leadership. Please inquire. The responsibilities
are easy. So far, only 100 of us have registered (aliases are fine). However, we've
had close to 340,000 hits! That's awesome! Thanks to Dan and Bobby for such
a powerful tool in our kit!
Kansas' STL, Matt, sent me a great article
about certain aspects of government
intelligence and how that relates to what we're all experiencing.
At this point,
can ANYONE say that they have the necessary info to make a decision or a
judgment on ANYTHING that is going on around us?
We are certainly being forced to react to every pressure out there. We are somehow
required to take sides on various issues. We are definitely affected by the decisions
of the "top down" power brokers of multiple industries. There are so many threats
to our well being, coming at us from every side AND within. Is there a solution?
Are SEVERAL solutions needed? How would we know what and how to do?
As you probably know, my personal view is that everything begins and ends with
Jesus Christ. OK, how does that help you? Well, I respectfully leave that up to you!
As for all the other stuff, the course of action to maximize success is almost
laughably easy - really! It's all about who you know, and how you network!
There's no one out there who can be the "Omega Man" and survive in a world
all by themselves! No one has all the resources, the tools, the expertise, the toys,
to be able to adapt to all that this present world is throwing at us.
Besides the spiritual component, we need to build the networking component.
If something scares you - act upon it. Start a plan, a course of action, a solution.
Rather than just reacting with fear that accomplishes nothing. SAFE is a great
place to start!
