Society AFTER Doomsday book cover

Last Day to Download the Free Book. I would suspect that you have to do it before THURSDAY midnight (today) and I think you can get to it by just going to this link. If you do or don't have an Amazon account or the Kindle reader you can download them all for free. Others have done it by going to this link. Just sign in and if you don't have an account it will say to you to create one and will offer you the free Kindle reader so you will then be able to read the free book.

Curious day for this to be the last day! I didn't plan it that way. Neither did I plan for the media that are supposed to show up today. They had said for several months that they planned to come from Ottawa sometime in the Spring and then they suddenly called up and picked this date.

This date is the anniversary of the two most important events that have ever happened in the history of the world.

On this date in one particular year in history the electronic digital age began. Before that day no one could communicate beyond the line of site. Starting at that single point in time we have progressed into Satellites and the Internet.

On that day the first telegram message was sent - "What hath God wrought?" - and in 1999 the last official US government telegram was sent and it ended with - "What hath God wrought?" It took 18 minutes to receive the last message and then it was sent to the White House instantly - by email.

On the very same day that the first telegram message "What hath God wrought?" was sent, the most important event in history took place according to calculations developed by Sir Isaac Newton, whom many consider the foremost scientist to have ever lived. The story is to be found in Wikipedia.

None of this is mentioned in "Society AFTER Doomsday" but it all set in motion events that made the writing of the book necessary.

Peace and love,
Bruce
