How to Prepare to Get Your FREE Book
"Society AFTER Doomsday" is now up on Amazon. Scott, our Amazon
consultant, plans to give it away free for three days. Probably Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday. I will send you an alert newsletter to tell you
when to go get it. That will probably be all that there is in the
newsletter unless there is some other important breaking news.
The important thing is that we want you to write a review about it. The
reviews help position it with Amazon and greatly help promote the book.
It can be just a short review of a couple of sentences or it can be a
longer critique. Please give your honest opinion.
To open your Amazon account:
1.) Go to http://www.amazon.com/ and sign up for a free account if you don't have one.
2.) Once you have your free account, you can download the "kindle for
PC" application (there's a good reason to do this because there are a
ton of free books and more are added every day.
You should open your Amazon Account now - if you don't have one. I am
concerned that this may require a credit card - even though none of this
is going to cost you anything. But give it a try.
Picture of Progress
Above is a picture of the SAFE EMS (Emergency Messaging System) Computer
Interface that has been developed by Darlene Moire. This will be so
simple to use - over anything that there has ever been before that I
feel sure it will be considered a classic.
If I could figure out how to do it I would put red arrows around the
screen pointing out different features - but I did well for me, getting
the picture up there.
Anyway, here is a short verbal description from the top down:
1. Near the top left corner you see the help button.
Clicking on that will bring down access to sections of the manual.
2. The large beige box on the left (with a white section on its left) is
the MULTI-Channel window. On each stripe you will see what is being
received on the frequency that is being displayed beside it in the white
section. Many times there will just be noise on a frequency - but other
times you will see several messages being displayed on different
frequencies in realtime - in sort of ticker tape fashion. If you click
on one of them the whole message will start being displayed in the
purple window and will be retained there. That will also be the
frequency that you will have then chosen for transmitting.
3. If the message becomes too long to display in the purple window - a
slider will appear on its side - and that window can retain messages
many thousands of characters long.
4. The white window is where you compose the messages that you are going
to send out. It too will present a slider on its right if the message
is too long to display in the window.
5. At the bottom of the screen is what we call the waterfall. I won't go
into details about it at the moment - and in fact, we are in discussion
about removing it.
6. Just above the waterfall is the control bar where there can be set
the few variables that we use in the program. I won't go into details
about those at the moment.
In the future you will have lots of opportunity to learn how to use the
SAFE EMS User Interface. You will be able to download the manual and
Victoria is planning to make YouTube videos about it. Its simplicity is
its marvel, and the key to answering our need.
Peace and love,
Bruce

Greetings SAFE Team,
We need a serious volunteer to manage our Database, ASAP. This position
is for someone who will be specializing in this area. We are not
looking to burden anyone with all sorts of related responsibilities.
Please consider this invitation to support SAFE with your talent - it'd
be much appreciated!

Now that we've reestablished our State Team Leader list, we can further
organize and develop our agenda for promoting SAFE. Growth is great,
however, we are not worshipping numbers here. We need intelligent,
constructive progress. That said, I have no designs for pitching
products to anyone, nor do I intend to distract you with endless
controversies. Just keeping it simple.
OK, from the general public's point of view, all preppers are the same!
But after doing quite a bit of research, I'd say that SAFE is unique in
its' approach. So what do we do now? The same thing successful people
everywhere do - NETWORK!
I'm convinced that although we have
some great resources to refer friends to, our best "calling card" is our
own example! If someone is paranoid, anxiety stricken, prone to
violence, and or, self centered, all their efforts to convince others to
responsibly prepare will fail. On the other hand, when some well
intentioned person joins our team, and becomes complacent, fails to
become familiar with the links, neglects to read up, or procrastinates
taking basic steps for readiness; you get what's called a bad witness.
I've honestly had more folks slow down their brains to consider the
SAFE message after seeing my well functioning suburban chicken coop,
organic garden, and rain water storage system! Often, what you do best
is your most effective key for opening a door for constructive
conversation. Obviously, there are things you don't broadcast, and that
is exercising prudence or wisdom.
One question that I get a lot
is "Knowing all this doomsday stuff - how do you sleep at night?".
Well, I believe that God is love and is faithful to His Word. The other
stuff is icing on the cake! In all things, be responsible. Serve others
when possible. Set a good example. People will be attracted by your
integrity, SAFE will grow, and more people will grow safe!
Peace & Action,
Christopher
