That Went Well

That Went Well

Doomsday Clock 2.

Today, as you read this -
is the Convergent Date -
that I have been pointing to -
for the last couple of months.
Well, what happened?
LOTS! But not the way anyone was planning.
Hamas in Gaza kept pushing it and pushing it.
The leaders standing in back shouting
for everyone to go forward.
A few younger people got killed - for the effort -
and hundreds got a bullet in their shinbones.
There BIG Day is planned for today -
but they have lost steam.
Israel had taken some pre-emptive strikes
up towards Lebanon and Syria
and had lost a plane for their troubles -
but then some Hezbollah hotheads
decided it was time to really sock it to Israel
and launched a couple of handfuls of rockets
and missiles
toward Israel.
The rockets were largely duds - as usual -
and the Iron Dome took care of Couple of missiles.
It could have ended there -
but it didn't
because now Israel REALLY Retaliated -
with some serious missiles
(28 Israeli warplanes took part in the raid
and 70 missiles were fired and hit targets
as per the map immediately below.)

Many a person said on the spot -
"Well, here we go -
this is the beginning of WW3".
Iran said, "We are coming after you Israel".
(Iran had a number of Hezbollah officers killed.)
The US MSM said nothing for several hours afterwards -
and all I really had was -
tweets, some cell phone photos, and that untranslated map-
that is now above.
However, messages were sent.
The US told Iran -
"If you touch Israel - we will obliterate you."

Russia told Iran - we are your partner -
but stay calm - you don't want this to accelerate.
Israel told us the missiles were coming -
and where to stand out of the way - so we weren't touched.

France told Iran -
we are for you -
but don't even sneeze.
Bahrain - of all people -
told Iran -
"Israel does have a right to protect itself."
The head of the UN told Iran -
You DON'T want to go there.
Turkey snarled at the US -
("This is on top of
the biggest slap in the face -
anyone has ever done -
which is your opening the US Embassy in Jerusalem.")
Israel put the troops on high alert -
and in face of all the opposition -
Iran backed down.
Score one for Netanyahu and The Donald.
Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, Turkey -
had planned for months for this to be
THEIR big day -
but that parade got rained on -
and the daughter of The Donald -
and her Jewish husband -
are in Jerusalem to cut the tape
for Israel's celebration.
Meanwhile - back at the Ranch -
The Donald is scoring more points
on canceling the Iran non-agreement
by retrieving US citizens
that had been imprisoned
in North Korea -
and setting up his meeting with Kim Jong Un
for June 12th,
in Singapore
to end the Korean war
after all these many decades.
One really can't have too much good news
for one day -
so I wish Israel a very happy -
Yom Yerushalayim, or Jerusalem Day,
which began yesterday (Saturday evening, May 12)
and continues thru Sunday evening May 13,
which is actually past that time over there.
This day commemorates the reunification of Jerusalem in 1967.
The same dates, actually the 14th,
is seen as The Day of Tragedy by the Muslims -
because that is when they lost out
to the Israelis.

So what to expect now.
Well actually nothing is changed.
Hamas is hurt.
Iran is irritated.
Turkey is troubled.
Syria is sick.
Lebanon languishes.
France is flummoxed.
Russia rumbles.

China and its currency remains where the action is.
The MSM is totally bewildered.
What they call an inexperienced
quarterback president
has just now this week
scored three more touchdowns
in the first quarter
of this ball game.
Also:
"Five Most Wanted leaders of ISIS just captured!"
Trump wrote in a post on Twitter,
providing no further details.

Ark Two
Truly enjoying the Spring.
Things are marvelous, enjoyable, wonderful.
(Although missing Jemma).
We live in a peaceful part of the world.
We have bounteous and delightful food to eat.
An excellent medical system -
which we haven't had to use
in the last week except for a clear notification.
We have friends and bounties
that it would take pages to list.
Small problems like
Jean's washing machine died -
but someone is giving us another one -
to be delivered on the 20th.
Garden needs doing -
and it is beyond us -
even with a gift of compost yesterday
from the county (at the community hall)
and today the offer of use of a small tractor.
In times like this -
I have no idea
how much longer it may go on.
Enjoy.
And if you do wish to help Ark Two - let me know.
We are having work days -
and we would be delighted
to have someone(s)
come and stay with us permanently.
Peter would like to put a garden in.
If anyone would like to help with that -
please let me know.
Unity and Love,
Bruce
