Savor These Days
Another week of blessed weather -
as I sit here with the door open.
Oh, I realize that there was a terrorist bombing
of a restaurant 90 miles away in Toronto -
following school shootings
and the white van down the sidewalk thing
a couple of weeks ago.
Also the bombing by Israel in Syria
and the threats from the US -
lots of trepidation
for individuals at the borders -
here there and elsewhere.
I feel sorry for all these people
and many more -
but still relatively few
as to what occurs sometimes
and as to what I expect to occur
before the summer ends.
These are days of relative calm.
At least on the surface.
The earth may be trembling underneath -
as evidenced by Hawaii and the tectonic plates.
There are rumors galore
about the monetary world.
In fact here is an actual statement last week
by the IMF -
about Distributed Ledger Technology.
“Distributed Ledgers have recently emerged as a key technology supporting multiple applications. The potential exists to transform payments and securities settlement… by offering currency substitutes.”
SDR (Special Drawing Rights)
meaning currencies other than the US petro dollar -
all of which we have discussed many times,
meaning China, Russia, and some others
may decide, be able to, use currencies other than
the US dollar. Anyway - rumors again -
window opens July 1st to October 31st.
That could be a complete downpour.
Complete monetary/financial/economic collapse -
but others will tell you -
NOT NOW -
NOT THEN -
NOT EVER -
so for now -
enjoy the weather -
physical, social, political, economic.
Ark Two No help this week. But lots of people have said they are coming next weekend.
People either come and help. Or they don't. Nothing I can do to push it.
Many tell me - I should do this - or that - but seldom is there help in doing it.
Everyone is so busy - and the weather is wonderful - for everyone.
