From every quarter where I look - there is really no news. As a friend of mine always says - "Same old - same old." I made a list: Stock market is up or at least stable. OWS conflicts not being reported UN compromise/ceasefire on Syria implementing Iran discussions reopening North Korea retrenching from missile shot Traditional presidential political contest being established Good news economic news in the headlines Race relation reports being cooled Actual Fukushima events tempering No gigantic environmental events transpiring No major earthquakes Even the sun remaining relatively stable - no major CMEs having hit the earth. International financial markets such as on Greece, Spain and Italy holding on Predicted collapse of the Euro didn't occur. Flytilla flopped. An alternative view I also realize that reading down the above list that there is someone who will say for each item - that it is the calm before the storm. In world affairs - March was in like a lion and out like a lamb. April has been a month of gentle showers - and we can only hope that it will bring May flowers. A Game Changing Event There has certainly been one world game changing event this week - and that is the new Indian Missile. With that - India is entering the rarified nuclear club with US, Russia, China, France, Great Britain, of broad theatre nuclear tipped missiles. India is scheduled to become field operational in 2015 - coincidently my major year of expectation. So far - all my prophetic interpretations/expectations have proven erroneous - and this one may well also. On the other hand - great numbers think that what is wrong with my expectation - is that it is so far off. (Hmmm - that works out to being a double entendre.) Anyway, admittedly - things may change suddenly - and I myself think that before the year is out we may well see great and dramatic economic/financial/social turmoil. Well, so much for what we can't change - anyway. Suggestions Wanted for Newsletter Format You will see that I am still trying to change and improve the format of the newsletter. If you have any suggestions - please send them. Help wanted for YouTube development I am in the process of developing a series of 24 YouTube videos. They are to be called - "Two Minutes with Ark Tube" although so far the seem to time out in average over 3 minutes each. I thought I could write 8 scripts per day - but actual production on days that I can work on it - has been 2 scripts per day. I still have another ten to go. Some help on this would be really great. If some of you would be willing to edit a script or two - I can send that by email. The REALLY BIG HELP that I need is for someone to come and stay with us for a week and edit them - after I get them shot. It needs to be someone who really understands video editing. I am planning to use Windows Movie Maker - which should be simple enough for anyone experienced on any system.
