Russland und China bereiten sich mit den bis jetzt größten Kriegsspielen auf einen Atomkrieg vor

Russland und China, die nach einem offiziellen Pentagon Bericht als größte Bedrohung für die Vereinigten Staaten gesehen werden, werden ihre bis jetzt größten militärischen Übungen abhalten, dabei wird Berichten zufolge auch Atomkrieg simuliert.

Russland, die weltgrößte Atommacht und China, eine weitere eingesessene Atommacht, sind in der Vergangenheit oft aneinander geraten und aben weiterhin viele widersprüchliche Ziele. Aber beide wurden zu Hauptzielen der Vereinigten Staaten.

Da Russland und China so tiefgreifende Unterschiede in ihrer atomaren Philosophie haben ist es unklar wie die beiden zusammen arbeiten werden.

Beamte des US Verteidigungsministeriums sagten gegenüber Bill Gertz vom Washington Free Beacon das die Übungen die größten in Russland seit 1981 sind. Das sie die größte jemals dagewesene gemeinsame Übung von Russland und China sind. Und das sie Übungen für Atomkrieg beinhalten.

Unter dem Präsidenten Donald Trump haben die Vereinigten Staaten ihre Nationale Sicherheit und Verteidigungsstellungen neu definiert. Schriftstücke zu beiden Bereichen sehen China und Russland, noch vor Terrorismus und dem Klimawandel, als größte Bedrohung für die Vereinigten Staaten.

Es ist unklar wie China und Russland einen Atomkrieg koordinieren würden, da beide sehr unterschiedliche Modelle einer Atomaren Strategie haben. Russland hat die meisten Atomaren Sprengköpfe in der Welt, und unterhält eine wachsende Zahl gefährlicher und verheerender Abschussvorrichtungen.

Russland hofft bald ein Unterwasser Doomsday-Gerät ins Feld führen zu können, welches das Leben auf dem Planeten Erde für Jahrzehnte verkrüppeln könnte.

Geheimdienstberichte der Vereinigten Staaten deuten auch an das Russland Anstrengungen unternimmt eine atomar-angetriebene Cruise Missile mit Atomsprengkopf herzustellen.

China, auf der anderen Seite, versucht einen entgegengesetzten Kurs einzuschlagen und hat sich für minimale Abschreckung entschieden.

Hier hatten Russland und die Vereinigten Staaten ein nukleares Gleichgewicht und eine Doktrin des Gleichgewicht des Schreckens erreicht, bei dem ein atomarer Angriff auf ein Land einen verheerenden atomaren Gegenangriff zur Folge haben würde.

Russland und die Vereinigten Staaten haben dies mit einer nuklearen Triade von atomar bewaffneten U-Booten, Flugzeugen und vom Boden gestarteter Raketen erreicht, die so weit verteilt und versteckt sind das keine Einzelattacke die Fähigkeit des Landes für einen Gegenschlag ausradieren könnte.

Aber China, mit nur ungefähr 200 Atomwaffen, hat seine Struktur darauf ausgelegt einen Atomkrieg 'nur' überleben zu können. Und dann einen Gegenschlag Wochen oder Monate später durchzuführen.

Nichtsdestotrotz besagt der jährliche Bericht des Pentagons das China Angriffe auf die Vereinigten Staaten mit atomar bewaffneten Bombern trainiert.

Der russische Verteidigungsminister Sergei Shoigu hat diese Woche gesagt, das dreihunderttausend Truppen und tausend Flugzeuge an der Übung teilnehmen werden, und dabei alle Übungsplätze in den östlichen und zentralen Bezirken nutzen werden.

Beijing hat angekündigt ungefähr dreitausendzweihundert Truppen, dreißig Helikopter und mehr als neunhundert Stück anderer militärischer Geräte zu entsenden.

Reality.
Nature of the World they will tell you.
I don't think that is God's plan
for humanity.
Well, if He has a different plan,
they will say -
then He better get down here
and implement it.
God's plan is that humanity
be the one's to implement it
of their own free will.
To that end He is letting humanity
work out their way - The Pentagon's way -
to its logical end.
So that we can see the difference
between man's plan and God's Plan.
As of yet -
most of humanity doesn't even know
what God's Plan is -
and they don't want to know about it.
After all -
America has been doing well this week.
A few fires and such around -
but the stock market continued its
longest bull run ever.
Countries that have opposed or tried
to resist American policies -
have a bad week -
such as Venezueala, North Korea, Iran,
and a lot of others.
US policy has been really tough on Russia.
As the US Department of State said on August 8, the first package of sanctions applies to dual use products, the export to Russia of all sensitive goods and know-how related with US national security and also electronics, components and technologies for the oil and gas industry.
Alongside this, the act envisages the possibility of far harsher sanctions to be taken in three months’ time. The second package of restrictions envisages a downgrade of bilateral diplomatic relations or their complete suspension, an overall ban on the export of US goods to Russia except for foods and on the United States’ import of Russian goods, including oil and oil products, refusal of permission to any planes of Russian government-controlled air carriers to land in the United States and Washington’s veto on all loans to Moscow from international financial organizations.
Yep - from The Pentagon point of view.
What is bad for Russia is good for America.
Coincidentally, 3 months, 90 days from August 8th
is November 8th.
Kind of follows on Donald's other program.
To quote him:
"We come up again on September 28th and if we don’t get border security we will have no choice, we will close down the country because we need border security,” he said, according to Reuters"

a couple of thousand troops

That will change the balance
between Pakistan and India,
I have no idea how things
are interrelated -
but I feel sure everything is.
It has been a good week -
if you have own lots of stocks,
you live in a gated white neighborhood,
you don't have any big medical bills,
your kids are in college and not looking
for a job.
Life can be good.

Russians view this a bit differently.
Here is a statement by a high Russian official:
""It’s no secret that serious pressure is being put on Russia, and it will only get worse. It is intended to deal a blow to defense cooperation, including defense exports. We see that the Americans now speak about the possibility of sanctions against the countries that purchase Russian weaponry… We should follow the advice of certain experts, who say that Russia should possibly suspend the implementation of treaties on non-proliferation of missile technologies, and also follow the US example and start deploying our tactical nuclear weapons in foreign countries. It is possible that Syria, where we have a well-protected airbase, may become one of those countries," Gutenev said."
Okay, so now Russia is going to
move nuclear armed missiles into Syria,
just like the US has done elsewhere.
Russia also announced they are doing another
interesting thing.
Having the largest war games they have had
in forty years.
Well, yes, last year they had the largest war games
they have have had in forty years
and as long as each years is bigger than the previous
they can continue to say that.
BUT, this one is going to be a REALLY BIG ONE.
Some might say that shouldn't be viewed
as a good week for the world.
But from the American point of view.
More and more good.
Two carriers headed for the Gulf -
and the Admiral for another American task force -
that went active in the North Atlantic this week -
said -
"We are ready for war."

But, indications are
they about to introduce their own

backed by Gold
in Africa.
Said to be really significant
because it can stabilize trade
between African countries -
something that is soley needed.
Always interesting stuff out of China.
They say they plan to establish
a permanent base on the backside of the moon -
in two years.
Ahhh - that means we won't be able to see it.
No satellite overflights there.

Internet is a window on the world.
Kings of the world 200 years ago
had nothing that approaches it.
They waited weeks for news from
some sources. Until electricity and the radio
our own parents
waited days for the paper
to be delivered to the farm
bringing information usually two weeks old.
Even fifty years ago
no president of the US
had equivalent news sources
BUT today I often wonder
about the reliability of what I see and hear.
Still it is like living in a tall high-rise
and looking out the window.
In the far distance I see dark clouds
that I am told are from an approaching forest fire,
or world conflagration..
On the nearer horizon there is a great refuse dump -
that has been growing for weeks.
It is amazing how high the mountain is growing
as truck after truck comes and dumps its load
about how Trump is going to be impeached.
More immediately on the street below -
there seem to be several separate brawls among rowdies -
but the police are gathering in force
apparently planning to confront one of them.
Still in my apartment -
life is serene.
The refrigerator is well stocked.
The neighbors are calm and peaceful.
Life seems good.
Nothing seems any different
in looking out the window -
than it has for weeks.
In the news this week -
word is still that Israel on alert
for the biggest battle in decades.
Turkey in turmoil -
over collapse of its dollar.
Likewise Venezuela and perhaps Brazil.
Certainly Iran.
Struggles in Syria.
Rumblings in Russia.
Confrontations in China.
Politics in Pakistan.
Nothing much different
than it has been for weeks.
Still glad to be in a window -
high above the scene.
Thankful for another day of serenity.

India upgraded its anti-missile defense, how will India respond?

Since Pakistans nuclear first strike policy is unknown

(which is a part of their nuclear deterrence, probably derived from budget constrains)

what will they do when they suddenly find their first strike capacity threatened?

The Privthi system has already been in place, for short- to medium-range launches, and considered as a deterrence against fielding tactical nuclear weapons by Pakistan.

Now less than a week ago, the Indians have been testing an Advanced Area Defense Missile, which can be used for medium- to long-range.

While those measures are officially only for defensive purposes, i.e. to defend against incoming ballistic missiles, their ability to transport a payload of 500-1000 kg makes them just as feasible to devastate Pakistani Nuclear or other installations in a decapacitating first strike.

What does Pakistan have in store for this threat? Have they already considered what counter-counter-measures they will take?

It remains to be seen whether Pakistan has more to offer than their 'dead-hand' approach of telling noone when and then how much it would use nuclear weapons.

Unfortunately, the powers that be consider that prudent.
But time will tell if that won't be the flash-point for WWIII.

Once Nuclear Weapons are used between India and Pakistan, it will be 'use it or lose it' for all other nuclear-armed nations.
With the resulting catastrophic consequences, breakdown of agriculture and so forth, changing from being to be avoided at all cost to a necessary collateral damage in the end-game gambit that plays out on this planet.
